Gods knowledge is really wonderful. He knows all things.Everything that we do God knows. God understands are thoughts , our ways,

Psalm 139:1-6 (KJV21)139 O Lord, Thou hast searched me and known me.
2 Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising; Thou understandest my thought afar off.
3 Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.
4 For there is not a word on my tongue, but lo, O Lord, Thou knowest it altogether.
5 Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid Thine hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.

He also searches us knows us. Its good to say Lord search my heart search me and tell me about me.

We think we know ourselves but when it comes down to it we don’t know ourselves. God will tell you about yourself. He will point out things you have to change, attitudes, bad character, prides. He will let you know about your fears and how to overcome them. If you ask Him about yourself He will let you know.

Those things you and I have to change He will let us know personally or use people to tell us or through dreams and visions.God does it in many different ways.

If we are stubborn like most of us have been. Ok so you won’t be offended so let me re-word this. So lets continue with the this teaching. Like brother Alan myself who has been very very stubborn at times and more than all of you on here I think. God has used circumstances that I really disliked to get me to understand what was in my heart.

Israel was taken to the desert 40 years so what was in there hearts would be revealed. So when certain adverse situations come lets be ready to know whats in our heart.

Deuteronomy 8:2 (KJV)And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.

God permits us to go through things to test us and so that we know what is in our hearts. Tribulations and trials let us know exactly what is in our hearts if we pay attention to ourselves in difficult times. The wilderness is a place of testing a place where we can discover who we really are or how much we have grown in Christ or not grown.

If an in adverse situation we get angry , depressed ,loosed faith. Lets admit well maybe my faith wasn’t what I claimed it to be. And Lord SAVE MEE !! because I am drowning.

Like Peter cried out when he walked on the water in the storm. Being a fisher man Peter knew how to swim. But not even his ability of swimming could help him when he lost focus of the Lord Jesus who was in front of Him walking in that stormy water.

This is key when we loose focus on Jesus and focus on the storm we tend to lose faith and are stricken with fears. Peter looked at the storm , the raging waves , the rain , the wind. And fear, froze him in his tracks. He could’nt do anything. EXCEPT say is Lord SAVE ME!!!

Than Jesus saved him put him on the boat than rebuked him. If God after He saves you from what ever you where going through and rebukes you don’t get mad. Be happy its a lesson learned.

But also He will let us see the virtues, talents and gifts He put in us. He will reveal His good works to us that we where pre- destined to do and walk in.
Ephesians 2:10 (AMPC) For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].

There are works that we as christians must walk in that are predestined by God. So there was a plan set for us before we came to earth. That’s why Jesus said we are not of this world, so why should we be like the world. Why should I imitate the world if I am not even from here.
I am from above.

Jesus said those who come to Him are because they learned from the Father and the Father brought them to Him. Jesus said no one comes to Him unless the Father brings them to Him.

That means where did I learn? In heaven before coming here I was instructed by God. And since I learned from God. The Father took me to Jesus to be saved. So the Father is the one evangelizing all those who learned.

John 6:44-45 21st Century King James Version (KJ21)44 No man can come to Me unless the Father who hath sent Me draw him; and I will raise him up at the Last Day.
45 It is written in the Prophets: ‘And they shall all be taught by God.’ Every man therefore that hath heard and hath learned from the Father cometh unto Me.

This proves we come from above and are not of this earth.
So lets ask God to reveal those works and to reveal whats in our hearts. Also lets ask God to reveal those beautiful gifts and talents He put in us to edify each other.

Love you all Alan Davis
