Are You In A Spiritual Prisons? Be Released

What causes us to be put in a prison or a spiritual jail?

1) People who dont forgive.

Matthew 18:21-35 New King James Version (NKJV)
The Parable of the Unforgiving Servant
21 Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?”

22 Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven. 23 Therefore the kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. 24 And when he had begun to settle accounts, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents. 25 But as he was not able to pay, his master commanded that he be sold, with his wife and children and all that he had, and that payment be made. 26 The servant therefore fell down before him, saying, ‘Master, have patience with me, and I will pay you all.’ 27 Then the master of that servant was moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt.

28 “But that servant went out and found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii; and he laid hands on him and took him by the throat, saying, ‘Pay me what you owe!’ 29 So his fellow servant fell down [a]at his feet and begged him, saying, ‘Have patience with me, and I will pay you [b]all.’ 30 And he would not, but went and threw him into prison till he should pay the debt. 31 So when his fellow servants saw what had been done, they were very grieved, and came and told their master all that had been done. 32 Then his master, after he had called him, said to him, ‘You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me. 33 Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you?’ 34 And his master was angry, and delivered him to the torturers until he should pay all that was due to him.

35 “So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother [c]his trespasses.”

In this passage we see that the wicked servant wouldn’t forgive on of his fellow servants and treated him with harshness. And the king was informed about this and he delivered that wicked servant to the tortures.

This is key when God forgive us we need to also forgive others. If we dont forgive others God will send torturers, what are torturers they can come as sickness, poverty, torment by demons.

Some Christians are sick from this reason and God will not heal them till they forgive and forget. They will continue under the torture till they let things go.

Also in this passage we see the fellow servant of the wicked servant be cast in prison. So when we don’t forgive we can put that person we don’t in a spiritual prison.

How do you think God views that?

So some people are in spiritual prisons thanks to other people not forgiving. The great news is that God will is very aware of this and will release anyone that has been thrown in a spiritual prison thanks to others unforgiveness.

2) Satan throws in prisons and God permits it!

Revelation 2:10 New King James Version (NKJV)
10 Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.

When Satan puts you in a prison , its a place where the christian is having constant tribulation and during that tribulation there is a test. Jesus said be faithful unto death and I will give you the crown of life. These kinds of spiritual prisons we can pass the test or fail the test it depends on us. I think we could apply this literally to martyrs. But spiritually we can apply it as a test and a constant tribulation.

The Solution To Be Free From Prisons

Acts 12:1-5 New King James Version (NKJV)
Herod’s Violence to the Church
12 Now about that time Herod the king stretched out his hand to harass some from the church. 2 Then he killed James the brother of John with the sword. 3 And because he saw that it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to seize Peter also. Now it was during the Days of Unleavened Bread. 4 So when he had arrested him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four [a]squads of soldiers to keep him, intending to bring him before the people after Passover.

This happened literally with Peter. And the church begin to pray fervently. The angel of God opened up the door to that prison.

When someone puts us in a spiritual prison , prayer can open the door on some one else’s behalf who is in a spiritual prison. Just as we see in this story. When the church prays we can be released, when the church doesn’t pray we can be killed like James was killed. James was a martyr.

But sometimes people die before there time because no one is praying for them or paying any price in prayer for them.

People are so caught up now a days in there own problems that they can’t pray for others. But just themselves, if you are an intercessor there is no room for selfishness as intercessors we must forget I dare to say our own problems and stand on other peoples behalf’s before God almighty. When intercessors pray for others let it be known that God is telling other intercessors to pray for you. Whether you know them or not God tells them your situation and they pray. So don’t be selfish if you are an intercessor at least a real one.

Also in the above passage of unforgiveness the way to be free from tortures remember these tortures are in prisons. So to be free from a spiritual prison that you got thrown in by God for not forgiving is simple just forgive.

There are consequences for not forgiving I will say it again sickness, poverty , business not moving, marriage problems etc etc. The key to get out of an unforgiveness spiritual prison is forgive and forget. If you can;t forget I doubt you forgave. If you did forgive than don’t let satan bring that subject up anymore with a firey dart to the mind. amen
